Trainer Profile 

Mike Charleston, of Bradgate Sylvester Limited been a consultant to industry and commerce for the last 25 years. The majority of his work has been undertaken for clients in the construction, facilities management and petrochemical industry sectors.

Mike's experience has ranged between the extremes of power station construction and internal office refurbishment. He is a Chartered Engineer (MI Mech E) and a Chartered Safety & Health Practitioner as well as being a member of the Energy Institute and the Chartered Management Institute.

Mike is a former maintenance manager within heavy engineering and therefore understands operational issues. His time in this field was divided between Africa and the UK.

As a trainer, Mike has worked with workforce operatives, front-line supervisors and various levels of management teams. He has delivered many 5 day presentations that were relevant to work on off-shore oil and gas installations after Piper Alpha. More recently, Mike has worked with a multi-national client on training and assessing the competence of key senior personnel in several European countries.

Mike runs 1, 2, 3 and 5 day training courses for a broad range of personnel working in the hydrocarbons industry. He has trained more than 300 industry personnel in RCM2 techniques outside of the United Kingdom in onshore and offshore, upstream and downstream operations.
